Key Benefits

  • Helps restore headlight clarity by removing haze from lens
  • Provides durable, spray-on, protective UV sealant
  • Professional results in less than 20 minutes

How to use

Step #1  With the 6” paper and tape, mask around the headlight area.  Tape down edges to prevent sealant overspray.  Apply another layer of tape around headlight to ensure added protection.

Step #2  Using the sanding  block, remove the “yellow” or “cloudy” layer from exterior of lens.  The layer has been removed once the residue appears white.  At this stage, the lens will appear a frosted white.  Using the 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper, apply water as needed to keep the lens wet and begin sanding.  Continue until lens is smooth and no “balling up” of residue occurs.  At this stage, scratches are less visible but the lens will be slightly frosted.  Using the 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper, repeat this process until scratches are no longer visible.  At this stage the lens will appear dull.

Step #3  Using the white cloth, wipe the entire lens to remove any residue and allow to dry. Inspect lens to ensure appearance is uniform over entire lens.  If not, repeat step 2 and continue.

Step #4  Shake the aerosol sealant 3-4 minutes.  Holding the can 4-6” from lens, spray even layers horizontally beginning over the masking paper and ending over the masking paper to prevent “puddling” on lens.  {show diagram of start / finish}.  Continue until entire lens has been coated.  Allow to dry and apply a second coat for best gloss and protection.  Once dry, if coudiness appears, gently warm the lens with a heat gun or hair dryer and cloudiness will disappear.
